Holocaust Research Centre

The Holocaust Research Centre is designed to convey a powerful message about the Jewish Holocaust. The street façade is treated in a monumental fashion, hinting at what lies within. Artist Andrew Rogers created the sculpture series "Pillars of Witness" for the face of the building, conveying a sense of loss, suffering and also strength. The Holocaust Research Centre allows visitors to engage in research, lectures, interviews and exhibitions associated with the Holocaust Museum. The architecture brings together a simple composition of bold forms and fractured glazing to softly filter the entry of light into the building.
