ESD Box

The ESD Box was created as a Pop Up event for the Melbourne Design Festival in 2007. Situated in front of SJB’s Southbank offices, the Box was constructed as an education tool for the design community and general public, as to the benefits of adopting an ESD approach for building projects, regardless of their size. The box enclosed a graphic print ‘ribbon’ that illustrated numerous SJB projects where the fundamentals of ESD had been successfully applied.

The Box project brought together a range of professionals - including builders, suppliers, technical experts and graphic designers and proved that the best ESD results are often achieved through a comprehensive and collaborative approach.
