Chapel Street Mixed Use

This mixed use development redefined the notion of 'shop top' living in an inner-city location, whilst achieving maximum yield and overcoming the challenges inherent in a long, narrow site.

The building includes a retail shopfront at street level and two apartments over the upper levels, one which features a split level formation. A strong architectural feature has been created through a screened side facade that provides privacy for residents and neighbours. The upper floor of the building, set back from street level, adds a further element of geometry to the project and complements the diversity and eclecticism of the existing streetscape.
