Sydney Olympic Park Visitor Centre

SJB Interiors has been involved in the restoration of an important heritage building in Sydney's Homebush. Originally a gatehouse to a rural abattoir, the building has served many purposes over the last hundred years including most recently a police station. SJB Interiors proposed to remove the extensions and paintwork that had accumulated over the years and reinstate the building to its original condition. It now stands as a contemporary visitor's centre for the Sydney Olympic Park precinct with interactive multi-media, select merchandise and a new garden deck made from the recycled timber that was part of the original building.
