A double fronted Victorian cottage was given a dramatic steel extension by Steve Domoney Architects. The interior reflected this extreme contrast. In the period section of the house, dark gridded wallpapers were used with graphic artworks. The contemporary extension used dark concrete floor, dark stained joinery and black details.
The double height living room was given a youthful design with a red dining table, peacock upholstery and classic tan leathers, all offset by graphic floor coverings. Contemporary light fixtures complete the artful experience to this section of the house overlooking a dramatic glass sided pool.
